What this service is

Builders HQ answers questions from AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT and others that speak MCP) about search demand, your own websites, places, videos and apps. You sign in, connect the accounts you choose, and add the service to your assistant.

What we keep

• Your account: your email address, name and Google profile picture, from Google's sign-in.
• What you connect: the access each service gives us (a Google Search Console grant, a Bing grant or key, a Cloudflare or Vercel token, your IndexNow keys) and the names of the sites they cover. Credentials are encrypted at rest with a key held in Azure Key Vault, and are never shown back, to you or to any assistant.
• Connected assistants: which assistant you allowed and when. Its access tokens are stored only as hashes.
• Usage: how many calls your account made each day, kept 40 days, for the daily limits.
• Answers: answers are cached in memory for up to a day so the same question does not call the vendor twice. Answers from your own sites are cached for your account only.

Google user data

When you connect Google Search Console, we ask Google for access to Search Console (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters). We use it only to answer your assistant's requests about your sites: search performance, URL inspection, sitemaps, and, only when you ask, adding or removing a site or sitemap. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not let people read it except to fix a problem you report or where the law requires, and do not use it to train AI models.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who else sees it

Your questions go to the vendor that answers them (Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Vercel, IndexNow, Apple). Your assistant receives the answers. We host on Vercel, keep data in MongoDB Atlas and keys in Microsoft Azure. We sell nothing to anyone.

Your choices

• Disconnect any service or assistant on your account page; its credentials are deleted at once, and Google's grant is revoked.
• You can also remove our access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• To delete your account and everything kept for it, write to support@buildershq.net.
