Your website traffic from Cloudflare and Vercel, in one conversation

Connect Cloudflare and Vercel once. Then ask how each site did last week, which pages and referrers bring visitors, and where they come from, across all your Cloudflare zones and Vercel projects.

A conversation: someone asks "Where did visitors to example.com come from in the last 7 days?"; the assistant calls Builders HQ's traffic_breakdown tool and answers with a table (Referrer, Visitors, Page views, Share). Google brings almost half of all visitors. Hacker News sent 2,318 people in one week, but they read 1.4 pages each against 2.6 from Google: worth a follow-up post.
Example data for example.com: your own answer shows your sites. The assistant called traffic_breakdown with site: "example.com", by: "referrer", range: "last_7d".

Why it is hard today

One dashboard per site

Ten sites on two hosts means ten dashboards and no total.

Short history, small exports

Analytics dashboards show a few views; comparing periods or sites means exporting and merging.

Numbers without the story

A spike shows up on a chart, but finding which page and which referrer caused it is more clicking.

How it works

  1. Connect Cloudflare (an API token with analytics read access) and Vercel on your account page.
  2. Add Builders HQ to your assistant.
  3. Ask about one site or all of them, and break the numbers down by page, country, referrer or device.

Prompts to try

Tools

ToolWhat it answers
list_analytics_sitesEvery Cloudflare zone and Vercel project you can read.
site_trafficA site's visitors, page views and requests over a period, in total and day by day.

Questions

What access does Cloudflare need?

An API token with Zone Analytics Read and Account Analytics Read. Builders HQ checks the token and lists the zones it can see before keeping it.

Is Vercel Web Analytics required?

Yes, for Vercel projects: the numbers come from Vercel Web Analytics on each project.

Who can see my traffic?

Only you. Your tokens are encrypted with keys in Azure Key Vault and your answers are cached for your account only.

Try it in your assistant

Free while in beta. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor and any client that supports remote MCP servers.
